We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to join our team in Johns Creek, Georgia. This long-term contract position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and optimize network systems while ensuring seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network technologies and a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities :

  • Administer and maintain network systems, including firewalls, routers, and switches, to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Oversee user maintenance, including managing roles, permissions, and security settings for various systems.
  • Create and deliver comprehensive training and documentation for end users to enhance system understanding.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve system issues to improve reliability and functionality.
  • Coordinate carrier and customer onboarding by gathering requirements and assisting with design and testing processes.
  • Test and validate system changes to ensure smooth integration and communicate updates effectively to the team.
  • Manage carrier and customer contracts, including rate tables, to support pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement MercuryGate tools and optimize transportation management.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support overall network and system operations.

Onsite 5 days a week in Johns Creek, Georgia

  • Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the transportation industry, demonstrating comprehensive industry knowledge.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with MercuryGate tools and solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to resolve complex problems effectively.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate teamwork and collaboration.
  • Familiarity with MercuryGate Easy Click implementation and carrier management tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of firewall technologies, Cisco routers, Active Directory, LAN networking, and supply chain logistics.
