Horizon Systems is looking for a skilled and passionate Project Engineer to execute the practical aspects of our ingredient handling solution projects for success. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial equipment and processes, and the ability to translate complex technical requirements into tailored solutions for our customers.

The Role : Driving Overall Project Execution

As a Project Engineer, you will assist our Project Manager(s) in the overall execution of our projects, utilizing your technical knowledge, drafting abilities, and thoroughness to provide engineered solutions for our customers. Your primary responsibilities are :

• Develop accurate flow, stack-up, and GD drawings as directed by the Project Manager to meet established schedules
• Work closely with Project Manager to provide engineering support throughout multiple concurrent projects
• Develop expertise in the design aspects required by the customer for each custom project
• Provide detailed reviews of production drawings, BOMs, and change orders to ensure accuracy and overall success of the project
• Working cross-functionally with customer, sales, production engineering, operations, and field technician teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Traveling 10-25% (5 to 13 weeks per year)
