Gain hands-on multimedia and cross-platform storytelling experience. Applications Open : Monday, Sept. 22, 2025 - Friday, Oct. 31, 2025 Virtual Information Session : Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025 Selections Announced : By December 31, 2025 Must be enrolled in college and working toward a degree (associate's, bachelor's, master's, or doctorate ) or have graduated within six months prior to the internship start date. Must include a cover letter, résumé with references, and 3-5 published clips. Applicants may also include 1-2 photos or a short video sample to showcase visual or multimedia storytelling. Reliable transportation is strongly preferred. Samples must be legible and clearly labeled; incomplete applications will not be considered.

Local News interns will be assigned a variety of reporting tasks focused on events in and around North Texas. Assignments will range from spot news to quick-turn and long-term enterprise coverage.
You will also be expected to :
- Take smartphone photos and video.
- Actively use social media in the news-gathering process.
