Experience a great work environment led by an engaged management team\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nJob responsibilities for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) include and are not limited to : \n
• Assisting CNAs in performing ADL and routine care.\n
• Conducting resident / patient treatments.\n
• Administering medication in accordance with physician orders and Plan of Care.\n
• Submitting pharmacy orders.\n
• Accurately documenting and recording all information.\n
• Giving injections of medication as prescribed.\n
• Observing resident health to communicate current condition to RNs, Supervisors, and Physicians.\n
• Taking vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature and weight.\n
• Basic care, including wound cleaning and bandaging.\n
• Managing IVs, starting IV drips.\n
• Monitoring fluid / food intake and output.\n
• Observing and reporting resident accidents, incidents and the presence of skin breakdowns.\n
