Position Overview
We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Field Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing on-site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can lead field crews, coordinate with project managers and subcontractors, and maintain a professional presence on-site. You’ll be the eyes and ears of the project, helping turn plans into reality while keeping everything running smoothly day to day.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily field operations and ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to plans and specifications
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field staff
- Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding progress, challenges, and resource needs
- Monitor schedules, materials, and manpower to keep projects on track
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Assist with project documentation, including daily reports, photos, and updates
- Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide proactive solutions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Represent the company professionally with clients, partners, and the public
Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong leadership and team coordination skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesSolid understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standardsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsStrong time management and organizational skillsComfortable using project management software and digital reporting toolsDependable, proactive, and detail-orientedQualifications :
1-5 years of construction or field supervision experience preferredExperience in commercial or residential(depending on company focus)OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferredValid driver’s license and reliable transportationBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office and / or construction management software (Procore, PlanGrid, etc.)Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field a plus (but not required). Actual field experience is highly encouraged and valued.Benefits
