Job Description

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced CRNA to work locums shifts in Stevens Point Wisconsin. Critical dates starting in January 2026 the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The CRNA role :

  • If CRNA is traveling from out of state, would prefer availability for at least 1 week at a time, preferably more. If CRNA is in state, would prefer at least 1-2 days given for availability.
  • Typically clinical hours run from 6 : 30am - 230pm (sometimes later depending on cases).
  • Monday - Friday.
  • Call hours would be 230pm (or whenever cases are down for the day) until 630am the next morning.
  • OR call hours for the weekends would be starting at 230pm Friday - 630am Monday.
  • We always have an Anaesthesiologist on that is the "board runner". Then typically 5-6 CRNAs.
  • No DEA is required, as we can use the hospital DEA
  • Required skills : General adult and general peds, Spinal, Epidural, Obstetrical cases, Spine, Complex ortho cases, Pain management techniques, post-epidural, epidural steroid for lumbar, epidural steroid, or cervical, Vent management

Requirements of the CRNA role :

  • WI state license; active
  • Active CRNA Board certification
  • 2 Years of experience required
  • Certifications- BLS and ACLS
