The Longmont, Colorado office is seeking a Senior Associate / Principal level Civil Dams Engineer with expertise and practical experience in the design and construction of earth embankment dams, hydraulic structures related to dams and reservoirs, canals and pipelines to support our growing office and region. We are looking for experienced, motivated candidates with attention to detail, a passion to continue to develop as a professional, and a desire to be part of and provide leadership to a strong multi-disciplinary team.

The Longmont office of Schnabel focuses on the evaluation and design of dams, reservoir facilities, and hydraulic structures, as well as advancing our practice of risk informed decision making within our dam engineering group. Example projects include design of earth embankment dams, earth lined and / or concrete spillways, dam intakes and outlet systems, dam drain systems, concrete structures, water control, conveyance, pumping and measurement structures related to dams and reservoirs. Additional projects include municipal and agricultural water supply systems, including open channel and closed conduit flow.

The compensation range for a Senior Associate Engineer is between $120,000 to $175,000. The compensation range for a Principal Engineer is between $155,000 to $220,000. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors.
