Commercial Construction Superintendent

We are extremely busy and need to hire an experienced construction superintendent for immediate hire. The superintendent will oversee the total construction effort to ensure the project is built in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.

We have been in business for 29 years. Most of our superintendents have been with us for 15+ years. We offer competitive pay, and our typical schedule is Mon-Fri 8 : 00 - 5 : 00.

Responsibilities

• Experience : A must. 3+ years of full building and T.I. experience.
• Manage company laborers assigned to your job.
• Schedule and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, etc.
• Identify schedule critical path, milestones, and maintain a 3-week look-ahead schedule weekly.
• Ensure work quality in cooperation with job safety.
• Ensure subcontractors maintain schedule.
• Direct all subcontractors; coordinate vendor deliveries.
• Ensure proper layout of building / site.
• Attend and represent the company in meetings such as pre-construction and progress meetings.
• Coordinate inspections with agencies and city officials.
• Follow close-out procedures; ensure punch list completion.
• Maintain project documentation including RFIs, schedules, change orders, photos, and meeting notes.
