Financial Advisor Support Specialist
Horace Mann is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Advisor Support Specialist to join our team in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare client investment reviews and proposals to support advisors in client relationship management.
- Support the sales team by gathering data, performing competitive analysis, and contributing to client presentations.
- Review client information worksheets to create personalized financial plans aligned with client goals and regulatory requirements; collaborate with advisors to refine and present recommendations.
- Conduct research and compile statistical and analytical reports to inform investment and planning strategies.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM systems for compliance, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Create, manage, and rebalance model portfolios based on established investment strategies.
- Meet with product wholesalers to stay current on available offerings and platform updates.
- Support process improvements and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required.FINRA Series 7 and 66 Licenses, or the ability and willingness to obtain them within six (6) months of hire.2+ years of experience in financial services or an advisory support role.Strong knowledge of retirement products including annuities, IRAs, and 401(k)s.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM platforms.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with clients, advisors, and internal partners.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working directly with financial advisors or in a brokerage environment.Familiarity with financial planning software and investment management tools.Additional Information
Hybrid work model : Combination of in-office and remote work based out of Cherry Hill, NJ.Normal office environment.Periodic travel may be required.Pay Range :
$19.66 - $29.04 / hr.Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.
