The client is seeking a motivated Aviation Civil Engineer who desires increasing responsibilities in the design and management of landside civil engineering projects to support aviation clients. The successful candidate will effectively provide project status updates to department management and support coordination with clients and subconsultants. Work assignments may include, but are not limited to, design and project management tasks including construction drawing preparation, construction cost estimating, processing technical specifications, and meeting coordination (internal and external stakeholders).

Skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D and / or Bentley Open Roads Designer / MicroStation
  • Detailed Construction Cost Estimating
  • Technical Specification Writing
  • Proficient in MS Office Software
  • Responsibilities

  • Develop contract documents (Plans, Specifications, and Quantities / Estimates)
  • Organize and run project meetings
  • Maintain current department organizational and quality control standards
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
  • Perform design computations
  • Coordinate with and / or manage project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited program
  • Professional Engineer License or equivalent
  • 4-8 years experience in civil design
  • Task management experience
  • Education Requirements

  • Supervisory role on project task experience
  • Road / Highway Design Experience

    Salary : $100000.00 - 110000.00 Per Year
