Travel Cath Lab Tech jobs in Florida offer you the chance to work in a dynamic healthcare setting, performing essential diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for cardiac patients. You will assist cardiologists during procedures such as angioplasties, stent placements, and pacemaker insertions, while preparing and maintaining the sterile field and monitoring patients’ vital signs. Your role includes operating and troubleshooting specialized medical equipment, verifying lab results, performing EKG tests, recognizing cardiac arrhythmias, and helping with treadmill stress testing and open heart procedures. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in emergencies are vital for success in this position.

Recommended qualifications include an associate degree in cardiovascular technology or a related field, clinical internship experience, and certification from recognized bodies such as Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Skills in basic and advanced cardiovascular life support, cardiac catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, and EKGs are highly valued.
