As The ASE Automotive Technician for Big O Tires, you will perform service and installation activities associated with store products and services in an accurate and timely manner. You will work alongside the store manager in ensuring shop performance and manage your work schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide fast and friendly customer servicePromote sales through explaining benefits of service and products to customersMaintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, vendors and customersKeep Manager informed of any maintenance problems and / or any issues that need attentionSafely operate customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissionsDrain oil and change oil filter; lubricate vehicles; install, rotate and balance tires and properly torque wheels; check and fill various fluids; check and replace various filters and lightsMaintain a clean environment, tools and equipment, using company guidelinesKnow and adhere to company policies and proceduresUtilize and perform all duties on the company checklists to meet consistent adherence to policies, procedures and expectationsPerform Alignments, Inspections, and Repair various automotive components and systemsSafely operate vehicle lifts and other equipment needed to complete servicingTroubleshoot and perform non routine repairs and aid others if needed.Take lead in the shop and ensure customers vehicles are repaired and serviced to store standards.Manage the shop and all mechanics / equipment within.QUALIFICATIONS
ASE CertificationDiesel Experience is a plusMust have own toolsAvailability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as neededReliable transportation to workAbility to learn new concepts and use technical materialsAbility to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machineryCapability to safely operate automatic and manual transmission vehiclesWillingness to work with hazardous materials and in outdoor weather conditionsComplies with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) regulationsAbility to remain in a stationary position (standing and / or driving) for up to nine hours per shiftAbility to move and lift up to 75 poundsAbility to meet company requirements including successful pre-employment drug screening, Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), and criminal background checkWillingness to work with Owner and Store manager to complete services with a focus on quality and in a timely manner.A Proven record of service and leadershipJoin our team today!
