Overview

AP English Literature and Composition Tutor role on the Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home.

Responsibilities

Tutor online one-on-one with students, providing personalized instruction in AP English Literature and Composition.
Use the Live Learning Platform and AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions, generate lessons, and engage students.
Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like; accepted sessions may be on-demand or scheduled.
Invoice for tutoring sessions; the platform handles payments and logistics.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.

Expertise in AP English Literature and Composition with the ability to explain concepts clearly.

Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.

Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
