A company is looking for a Financial Support Specialist who will provide a positive financial experience by resolving inquiries on charges, insurance, and payments.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to patient inquiries related to billing, insurance claims, payments, and statements via phone, email, and chat
Assist patients in understanding charges, coverage, deductibles, co-pays, and payment plans
Document all interactions in CRM / EHR systems with precision and compliance (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field preferred
2+ years' experience in healthcare billing, patient accounts, insurance claims, or revenue cycle management
Proficiency with EHR / CRM systems and payment processing platforms; strong Microsoft Office / Google Suite skills
Understanding of HIPAA, PCI compliance, and insurance terminology
Experience in a telehealth, multi-state, or large outpatient provider environment preferred
