Position Overview :
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Stamford Hospital is seeking a dedicated physician to serve as Director of our Outpatient OB-GYN Clinic. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape the clinical, educational, and programmatic direction of our resident-based outpatient practice while building a specialty-focused gynecology career within a dynamic, university-affiliated community hospital.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight of the OB-GYN resident outpatient clinic.
- Supervise and mentor residents in patient care, professional development, and evidence-based practice.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care with subspecialty providers in Gynecologic Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Family Planning.
- Develop a gynecology practice within the hospital’s Women’s Specialty Center.
- Lead the development of a comprehensive Menopause & Midlife Health Program , integrating institutional resources to provide multidisciplinary care.
- Participate in the development of a referral-based gynecologic surgical practice with mentorship available.
- Contribute to quality, safety, and patient-centered initiatives in outpatient women’s health.
