Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) is seeking a Principal / Senior Principal Configuration Mgmt. Support Systems Engineer.

This position will serve on-site in the greater Baltimore, MD area OR Redondo Beach, CA.

This requisition may be filled as a Principal Configuration Mgmt. Support Systems Engineer or Senior Principal Configuration Mgmt. Support Systems Engineer.

This position is contingent upon acquiring and maintaining the necessary US Government security clearance per customer's requirements.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Configuration Mgmt. Support Systems Engineer :

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university with at least 5 years of experience; 3 years with Master's Degree; OR 1 years with a PhD
• Progressive experience with the Change Control Board process and supporting Engineering Change Boards and Change Control Boards (CCB's)
• Experience with MBSE and Requirements management tools, such as Cameo and DOORS
• Expertise with Project & Task Management tools : Jira or Confluence
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally inside the organization
• Experience managing design drawings, engineering changes and design / configuration audits
• Ability to read and understand drawings of piece parts and structure assemblies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong executive briefing skills
• This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen
• Current Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS / SCI and a Polygraph prior to start.

Primary Level Salary Range : $110,300.00 - $165,500.00 Secondary Level Salary Range : $137,400.00 - $206,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
