JOB SUMMARY : We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to our diverse patient population. Your professionalism, clinical expertise, and interpersonal skills will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, accessible, and patient-centered care to individuals in need. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Escort patients to exam rooms, prepare them for examinations, and assist healthcare providers during procedures.
Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and maintain efficient clinic operations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all interactions, procedures, and interventions.
Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team, providing clear instructions and compassionate support.
OFF-SITE WORK :
Although it is not typical, Off-Site Work could, at times, be required of this position. This off-site work will typically include, but is not limited to, performing nursing duties (i.e. Vital Signs) at Health Fairs or other HOPE Sponsored Events and attending off-site meetings, trainings or conferences.
