Primary Function :
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Campus and Early Career Recruiting & Program Lead to lead our efforts in attracting, engaging, and retaining top early career talent within the engineering industry. This role will be responsible for building and executing a tailored campus recruiting strategy, managing internship and early career programs, and driving employer brand initiatives that position our company as an employer of choice among students and recent graduates.
Primary Duties :
Campus & Early Career Recruiting
- Develop and execute a comprehensive and impactful campus recruiting strategy targeting top engineering schools and programs.
- Build strong relationships with university career centers, faculty, student organizations, and diversity-focused groups.
- Plan and attend campus events, career fairs, info sessions, and networking activities to promote the company’s brand and opportunities.
- Partner with hiring managers to forecast early career hiring needs and align recruiting efforts accordingly.
- Coordinate effectively with interdependent HR team members and hiring managers to achieve optimal experiences for campus interns and converted new graduate hires.
- Design, manage, and continuously improve internship and rotational programs for early career talent.
- Facilitate intern engagement activities, mentorship, and feedback loops.
- Measure program effectiveness and seek continuous improvement based on feedback and outcomes.
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure meaningful project assignments and career development opportunities.
- Track conversion rates from internships to full-time employment and identify opportunities to improve retention and engagement.
Career Development & Engagement
Partner with Learning & Development to create career development resources tailored to early career employees.Facilitate workshops, networking events, and mentorship programs to support growth and retention.Analyze engagement and retention data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Employer Branding
Lead employer brand initiatives focused on early talent, including social media campaigns, digital content, and university partnerships.Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to ensure consistent messaging across platforms.Develop compelling materials and experiences that showcase the company’s culture, values, and career paths in engineering.Metrics & Reporting
Monitor and report on key recruiting metrics including offer acceptance rate, time-to-fill, candidate quality, and diversity outcomes.Analyze university performance metrics to identify high-performing schools and optimize recruiting investments.Provide regular updates to leadership on program effectiveness, ROI, and strategic recommendations.Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred.5+ years of experience in campus recruiting, talent acquisition, or early career program management, preferably in the engineering or tech industry.Proven success in building and scaling internship programming or early career programs.Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.Data-driven mindset with experience using recruiting analytics and tools (e.g., ATS, CRM, dashboards).Passion for developing talent and creating inclusive, engaging candidate experiences.Preferred Skills / Qualifications
Familiarity with engineering disciplines and technical recruiting.Experience with employer branding and social media strategy.Ability to travel to campuses and events as needed.Experience with employer branding and university partnerships.Familiarity with early career development frameworks and rotational program design.Data-driven mindset with experience in program evaluation and reporting.Passion for mentoring and developing emerging talent.Experience in the engineering or technology industry is strongly preferredExcellent project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines.Demonstrated ability to successfully multitask and maintain a high level of accuracy.A driving interest in performing at the highest level, continually looking for better answers & new solutions.Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong relationship building capabilities.Passion for learning about competitors and applying insights to inform HR recommendations for our business.Must prefer to be on a “winning team” as opposed to a comfortable routine that never changes.Why Ardurra?
