Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 02 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Title : Respiratory Therapist (RRT – NICU) Location : Annapolis, MD Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 – 07 : 30) Job Responsibilities : Provide advanced respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in a NICU and acute care setting. Administer and monitor oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation. Perform and assist with neonatal intubation, bubble CPAP, HFNC, and BiPAP / CPAP setup and monitoring. Draw, analyze, and interpret arterial and capillary blood gases. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-specific respiratory care plans. Support emergency and critical care procedures including resuscitation and transport. Document patient assessments, treatments, and responses accurately within the EMR system. Ensure all respiratory care procedures comply with safety and infection control standards.
