job_description.job_card.job_descriptionRequired : Graduate from a school of Surgical Technology or 5 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist. Required : Credentialed by the ABSA or CAAHED as a certified first assistant / certified surgical technologist or certified surgical assistant having graduated from an accredited program en route to certification with proof of eligibility to take exam for certification Required : Previous hospital and / or work experience as a Surgical Technologist for 36 months before First Assistant Program. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams Strong analytical / problem solving skills Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment Able to work in a fast paced environment Ability to maintain personal effectiveness while dealing with various personalities, skill levels, and rapidly changing situations Required : BLS must be obtained within 90 days and maintained throughout employment? - Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Up to 120 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off

Job Summary
A member of the healthcare team who functions under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and performs a variety of technical and supportive functions to assist with the care of the patient throughout their perioperative phase of hospitalization utilizing hospital / departmental standards, policies, protocols and procedures.
