job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCompetitive pay : counters start at $11.50 / hr plus tips; baristas start at $13.00 / hr plus tips (typical total $18-$22 / hr+ including tips) 401(k) with vesting match Health, dental, and vision insurance for full-time team members Vacation time after 1 year of full-time service Free employee assistance program services Flexible schedule with no late nights Free drinks and generously discounted meals Exciting potential for growth Provide gracious, high-quality service to guests, including welcoming and engaging throughout their visit Determine guests' needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Tatte products Take guests' orders using the point-of-sale system Adhere to Tatte packaging and product standards Deliver coffee beverages and food to guests Maintain clean and well-stocked cafe stations Support café cleanliness and brand standards Follow all safety and sanitation standards and company policies Other duties as assigned Provide gracious, high-quality service to guests, welcoming and engaging throughout their experience Have comprehensive knowledge of all Tatte products Prepare and serve beverages according to Tatte recipes and specifications Answer guests' questions about offerings Follow all recipe and presentation standards for beverages Operate barista station equipment according to standards Keep the bar area clean and well-stocked Deliver artistic espresso beverages Other duties as assigned Strong communication skills to warmly engage with guests and team members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Able to reach overhead as needed Must be able to lift, move, and carry 50+ lbs Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per day
Join our front of house team at Tatte Bakery & Cafe. Our team members welcome guests in our cafes, work knowledgeably about all Tatte products, and deliver delicious savory dishes and pastries. Baristas showcase artistic coffee skills by handcrafting beverages, while counter team members operate the point-of-sale register and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging, warm, and welcoming communication with guests
- Demonstrate passion and knowledge of our coffee menu, bakery and savory offerings, and genuine hospitality
- Collaborate as part of a team and help where needed
- Live Tatte's core values and support the company mission
- Offer flexible availability for a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and afternoons / evenings
- Barista team members ideally have at least 1 year of experience using manual espresso equipment in a fast-paced cafe
