Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education is needed for a K-12 school located in Tornillo, TX. This position is a contract role for the uping school year (NSY).

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
• Manage and support a small caseload of approximately 4 students.
• Deliver around 4 hours of direct service monthly, ensuring students academic and munication needs are met.
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student success.
