Position Summary :

As a Billing Specialist I (Inbound Patient Account Services Specialist) , you will be a key advocate for patients, delivering high-quality customer service by resolving billing inquiries and supporting patients through the reimbursement process. You will play an important role in improving the patient experience and ensuring timely and accurate billing services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Understand Client Specialty billing processes and patient service impacts
• Assist patients with navigating billing and reimbursement procedures
• Build trusting relationships through meaningful communication
• Handle difficult or emotional situations with empathy and professionalism
• Document all interactions accurately in the Revenue Cycle system
• Follow up on patient concerns and escalate when necessary
• Determine patient eligibility for payment plans
• Meet call center metrics including call volume and quality
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues
• Maintain an enthusiastic and professional telephone presence
