Front Desk Agent – The Westin Westminster.
Job Summary :
We are seeking a friendly, professional, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at The Westin Westminster. As the first point of contact for many of our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable arrival and departure experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities :
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and provide efficient, courteous check-in and check-out services.
- Accurately process reservations, room assignments, and guest requests using the Marriott property management system (LightSpeed).
- Handle all guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
- Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Accurately manage cash, credit card transactions, and room charges in compliance with hotel procedures.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and other departments to meet guest needs in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area at all times.
- Uphold Marriott brand standards and Westin service culture in every guest interaction.
Qualifications :
Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.Familiarity with Marriott systems (LightSpeed) is a strong plus.Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a guest-first mindset.Ability to multitask, remain calm, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with computers and reservation systems; basic math skills required.Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Why Join Us?
