Arc of Onondaga is seeking a Transportation and Safety Specialist to ensure our facilities, fleet, and operations meet all safety standards and regulatory requirements.

About the Role :

As a Transportation and Safety Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety, integrity, and compliance of Arc's sites and vehicles. Responsibilities include :

Conducting safety and site inspections

Performing vehicle inspections

Coordinating and executing fire drills

Delivering OSHA, fire, and driver safety training

This position supports the safety and wellbeing of individuals with developmental disabilities and the staff who serve them.

Requirements :

Associate degree (or equivalent experience)

1–2 years of related experience

Knowledge of OSHA, Fire, and Hazard Communication regulations

Valid NYS driver's license and acceptable driving record

Flexibility to work varied hours as needed
