Minimum Salary : $56,760 (commensurate with experience and education). The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the candidate selected is eligible for a years-of-service pay differential, it will be added to the total compensation. A pay differential does not raise the base pay.

Job Location : This position is located at the Harry S Truman State Office Building, 301 W High Street, Jefferson City, Missouri.

The person in this position is responsible for creating and supporting communications content between the Department of Commerce and Insurance and the multiple audiences we serve – telling the story of who we are, what we do, and how we protect the needs of the Missouri consumers and ensure a level playing field for the audiences we regulate.

Responsibilities

• Write and edit content for multiple delivery platforms, including web, social media, and print
• R esearch and gather information, verify for accuracy
• Capable of turning complex industry language into consumer-friendly content
• Assist with enhancing accessibility and usability in all communications materials
• Be familiar with AP style and work within established brand guidelines
