Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Middle Market Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of middle market commercial lines accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving growth and retention within the assigned book of business.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of middle market commercial lines accounts
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Understand clients' needs and provide tailored insurance solutions and risk management advice
Collaborate with underwriters and other internal stakeholders to ensure client needs are met
Drive growth and retention within the assigned book of business
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional insurance products
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market changes, and regulatory updates
Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner
Maintain accurate and detailed account documentation and reports

Qualifications / Requirements

Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, preferably in the middle market segment

Knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance products and coverages

Strong understanding of risk management principles and strategies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite

Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
