Position Overview

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Dietary Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you’ll help prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents while maintaining high standards of safety, sanitation, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes

Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet facility standards

Follow dietary restrictions and physician-ordered meal plans

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Assist with inventory, food storage, and supply ordering

Collaborate with dietary aides and other kitchen staff

Comply with all state and federal food safety regulations

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in food preparation, preferably in healthcare or long-term care

ServSafe certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Ability to follow recipes and accommodate dietary restrictions

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Positive attitude and commitment to resident satisfaction
