Position – Licensed Mental Health Clinician

We're seeking Licensed Mental Health Clinicians excited to serve clients in a private practice environment that supports clinical growth, continued education and skills building. Specializing in supporting women of color on their life’s journey of self-efficacy and individual empowerment. We have two locations in Largo, MD, and Laurel, MD.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established, growing, multidisciplinary practice providing mental health services for women of color. We are  looking for motivated and driven individuals that will help us unlock some black girl magic. We offer the simplest thing that most mental health professionals don’t understand is essential  AUTHENTICITY!

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will be excited to facilitate a safe space for clients to heal from mental health challenges; while working in an environment specializing in supporting women of color to find a healthy life balance. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to client-centered care, and the ability to work effectively in a private practice setting. The therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapy sessions. Some evening availability is required. Possess a masters level degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution of higher learning. Must be licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC.  Bilingual   providers are highly encouraged to apply.

Job Type :

  • Full-Time hybrid with 2 days per week in-office required / Telehealth Provider
  • Part-Time Hybrid with 1 day per week in-office required / Telehealth Provider

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • The therapist will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services, including assessments, treatment planning, and therapy sessions
  • Conduct Assessments : Perform thorough initial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, history, and treatment goals
  • Develop Treatment Plans : Create individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with clients to set achievable goals
  • Provide Therapy : Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual, group, or family settings, depending on clients' needs
  • Maintain Documentation : Keep accurate and up-to-date clinical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with ethical and legal standards
  • Monitor Progress : Regularly review and assess clients' progress toward treatment goals and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with Colleagues : Work effectively with other therapists and staff members to ensure comprehensive client care and support; Supervision with leadership team; Required to attend monthly staff meetings
  • Engage in Professional Development : Stay current with best practices, continuing education, and relevant therapeutic techniques; maintain active licensure status
  • Adhere to Ethical Standards : Maintain professional and ethical standards in all interactions and treatment approaches

    • Hours :

  • Full time hybrid : 40 hours per week; to include some required evening availability; 2 days per week in office required  (Location Needed : Laurel, MD)
  • Part time hybrid : 20 hours per week; to include some required evening availability; 1 day per week in office required  (Location Needed : Laurel, MD and Largo, MD)

    • Salary :

  • Full time hybrid :   $70,000+ depending on experience and licensure level
  • Part time hybrid :   $31,197+ depending on experience and licensure level
