Job Overview : The Commercial Account Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust sales strategy aimed at acquiring and retaining business-to-business (B2B) clients across multiple locations. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in sales management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to scale a sales operation.
Core Responsibilities :
1. Strategic Planning and Execution :
○ Market Analysis : Identify and analyze potential market segments and target clients within the commercial pest control sector. This includes understanding industry trends, competitive landscape, and specific needs of different business types (e.g., restaurants, hotels, offices).
○ Sales Strategy Development : Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to acquire and retain B2B clients across multiple locations. This involves setting sales goals, defining target accounts, and creating action plans.
○ Lead Generation and Qualification : Proactively generate leads through various channels (e.g., networking, industry events, online research) and qualify those leads to determine their potential value.
2. Client Relationship Management :
○ Cold Call : go to potential clients' places of business to and new accounts.
○ Relationship Building : Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
○ Customer Service Excellence : Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
○ Account Management : Act as the primary point of contact for major commercial accounts, serving as their trusted advisor and advocate within the company.
○ Contract Negotiation : Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company objectives.
○ Client Retention : Implement strategies to retain existing clients and minimize churn.
3. Compliance and Standards :
○ Regulatory Compliance : Stay up-to-date on and ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local industry regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards related to pest control services.
○ Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate and complete client records, sales activity reports, and compliance documentation.
○ Training and Development : Participate in training programs and stay informed about industry best practices, new technologies, and evolving regulations.
