We combine our creative storytelling expertise with large-scale production resources, positioning us to create, market, and distribute gaming content for our diverse client portfolio of top gaming development companies and major brands.

Dark Burn Creative is hiring entry-level Game Capture Artists based in Woodland Hills, California. Your mission will be to work alongside our creative team to help create epic gameplay trailer footage!

The opportunity

Are you passionate about gaming? Do you know every nook and cranny of your favorite video game? Would you like a career in capturing and saving video gameplay moments? If so, we'd love to learn more about you!

What you will do in this role

  • Get paid to play video games.
  • Provide feedback for the game and check for bugs.
  • Quality control related to game content and continuity.
  • Report and communicate those bugs with the Gaming Development Team.
  • Capture and save incredible gameplay moments.

About you

  • You’re a walking encyclopedia on all things video games and you LOVE playing those games.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and love pointing out inconsistencies in sports or game play by plays.
  • You have experience with at least one of the following : Photography, Cinematography, or Digital Art
  • You pride yourself in proficient PC skills and familiarity with popular mainstream gaming consoles (Xbox, PS5, Nintendo Switch, etc.).
  • Your communication and time management skills are excellent.
  • You're a positive influence in the workplace and a great team member.
  • 1 year experience in game capture experience preferred.
