What You'll Do
Operate and maintain wastewater lagoons, UV disinfection, and odor control systems.Perform sampling, monitoring, and in-house lab testing for wastewater quality.Support other compliance programs : air quality, stormwater management, spill prevention, and waste disposal.Operate equipment such as forklifts, street sweepers, and aeration systems.Conduct EPA Method 9 visible emissions testing and help enforce dust control measures.Assist with safe handling, labeling, and disposal of chemicals, oils, and waste streams.Maintain accurate QA / QC records and regulatory compliance documentation.Serve as lab backup for tank readings when needed.What You'll Bring
RequiredNebraska Class I Wastewater Operator Certification.
Physically able to climb stairs / ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.Mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting / maintenance skills.Prior lab or forklift experience; pesticide applicator license.Self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to manage multiple priorities.J-18808-Ljbffr
