Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a physician.
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
Monitor patient reactions and report any adverse effects to the medical team.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with oncologists and medical staff to develop treatment plans.
Ensure all radiation equipment is functioning properly and safely.
Utilize data and metrics to assess treatment effectiveness and adjust plans.
Educate patients and families about treatment procedures and side effects.
Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions.
Support the growth-oriented culture by setting and achieving personal goals.
Contribute to team meetings and share insights for process improvements.
Engage in activities that enhance the visibility of work and results.
Experience / Qualifications
Certified Radiation Therapist with ARRT certification and state licensure in Arizona.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in administering radiation therapy.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
Proven track record of achieving targets and contributing to team success.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment.
Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry trends.
Ability to analyze treatment data and adjust plans for optimal results.
Ability to work effectively in a high-visibility, results-driven environment.
Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate patient records.
