About The Position

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Experience : 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU

License : Current and valid nursing license required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Must-Have :

• Arterial line management
• Management of ventilated patients
• Central line care and management
• Continuous IV sedation
• Titration of cardiac drips
• Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Computerized documentation

Description :

Position available for a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit.

This position involves working three 12-hour night shifts per week.

Registered Nurses will float between various ICU units.

RNs may also be asked to float to medical surgical units as necessary.

There is a requirement for every other weekend shift coverage.

Requests for time off are limited to a maximum of five days, with no more than two consecutive days.

No time off will be approved on weekends or holidays.

The facility may require floating outside of the assigned unit.

Job responsibilities include comprehensive patient care and monitoring in a critical care setting.

RNs will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

Candidates must be able to manage complex patient situations and adapt to changing environments.

Completion of lab work and compliance with facility requirements will be necessary.
