Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in providing patient-centered care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position is focused on delivering exceptional care based on established protocols and physician orders while fostering a supportive environment for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care following organizational policies.
• Conduct detailed patient assessments, documenting findings and reporting changes.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitoring effects and maintaining accurate records.
• Assist during medical procedures within documented competencies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and take part in life-saving interventions.
• Ensure patient education on conditions and treatment plans is clear and understood.
• Implement infection control procedures to safeguard against infections.
• Utilize medical equipment necessary for patient safety.
• Promote safety through adherence to established safety goals.
• Participate in audits and compliance checks to uphold standards.
• Engage in continued professional development to remain current in nursing practices.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing care delivery.

Qualifications :

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or relevant student clinical rotations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

• Solid understanding of nursing processes and clinical practices.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments.
• Proficiency in medication administration and monitoring.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Attention to detail in patient care documentation.
• Understanding of safety standards and infection control measures.

Licenses and Certifications :

• Current RN license required.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred.
