Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Continuous Evaluation (CE) / Vetting (CV) Investigator working as part of a vibrant team on a contract providing cybersecurity and infrastructure protection services in support of an Intelligence Agency customer.
All the personnel on the team will work collaboratively to support the mission and protect the agency's personnel, facilities, information, and systems. This includes delivering expert guidance and oversight to ensure a robust and effective protection program across multiple security domains and global locations.
The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally.
Responsibilities :
- Documents, files, updates, and maintains all investigative actions in the PeopleSoft (PS) and SISPV SharePoint (SP) security system of records.
- Collects, researches, investigates, resolves security concerns, and document findings in accordance with Federal Investigative Standards (FIS) Expandable Focused Investigation (EFI) Module.
- Completes a Report of Investigation (ROI) not to exceed a 5% error rate and forward to the Adjudications Branch all relevant information received from investigated subjects for a final adjudicative determination within established Personnel Security Division timelines.
- Collaborates, coordinates, and shares information with internal / external stakeholders and / or others as directed by leadership.
- Collects and develops information from a variety of sources.
- Follows-up as appropriate to ensure timely action on all events.
- Prepares quality ROIs which are accurate, detailed, succinct and in an organized manner not to exceed a 5% error rate.
- Coordinates with sources to resolve missing or discrepant information.
- Ensures attention to detail is thorough when resolving data sets.
- Prepares all applicable filer notifications regarding filers at intervals specified by the program.
- Investigates and processes CE / CV cases in the timeframes designated by the team lead for that filing season.
- Accurately accesses the 13 adjudicative guidelines / areas of concern in accordance with the FIS Expandable Focused Investigation (EFI), new Federal Personnel Vetting Investigative Standards, and SEAD (3, 4, & 6) guidance.
Requirements :
Clearance Required : TS / SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
Degree and Years of Experience : Bachelor's degree and minimum of 7-10 years of personnel security background investigation experience.
Desired Certifications :
Certification, Federal Background Investigator Training Program (FBITP).Certification, General Investigator (GS1810 series).Required Skills :
