The Real Estate Paralegal will provide support to the In-House Legal Department, focusing on all land acquisition processes. The candidate chosen for this position will be thoroughly trained regarding McBride's land acquisition process. McBride is Missouri's largest home builder and is an industry leader in residential new home construction. This is an in-office position located in our state-of-the-art facility in Chesterfield Valley.

Salary Range : $80,000 - $90,000 / yr. depending on experience and an annual, discretionary bonus program
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in-house counsel with drafting all land acquisition contractsCoordinate timely payment of all earnest depositsOrder and analyze title commitments and organize all related documents for additional analysis by in-house counsel and senior paralegals reviewCalendar and track all relevant contract deadlines and eventsMaintain all land acquisition spreadsheetsPrepare draft of contingency release letters and all land acquisition closing documents for review by in-house legal teamCoordinate with title companies on all land acquisitionsCoordinate with outside counsel on formation of new LLC / CorporationsAssisting with municipal applicationsCreating and organizing paper and electronic filesPerform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications :
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and OutlookExperience in the real estate and / or title field is strongly preferredPrior experience concerning real property acquisitions including title and closing matters or contract administration is preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detailAbility to adapt, meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work independentlyAbility to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional mannerMust have a valid Missouri Notary CommissionMcBride is an equal opportunity employer.
