Radiology Locums Job in Iowa Assignment

Shift Description : Clinic Days : Monday-Friday; 8am-4pm (8 hours)

Dates Needed : 11 / 24 / 25 - 11 / 28 / 25; 12 / 8 / 25 - 12 / 12 / 25; 12 / 22 / 25 - 12 / 26 / 25

Requirements : Board Certified

Active Iowa license or Active IMLC

Full-time availability is preferred, but Client will accept candidates offering two weeks per month

Fellowship trained (General Radiologist with Mammography and Fluoroscopy)

Inpatient Responsibilities in Radiology Department

Number of Physicians : 1

Nursing Support / Physician Nurse Ratio : 1 : 1

Ancillary Staff per Provider : multiple

Services / Procedures offered in the practice : X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, and ultrasounds. Swallow, BE, Myleogram, LP

Number of Exam Rooms per provider : 3

Medical Imaging : Yes

Lab and Pharmacy : Yes

Clinic Provider Daily Volume : 111

Average Daily Hospital Practice Census : 111

Appointment length : 20 minutes

EMR : Powerscribe / Cerner

Teaching Opportunity : Yes

Analyzing medical images to diagnose and monitor diseases.

Interpreting test results.

Communicating findings to other healthcare professionals.

Performing interventional procedures using imaging guidance.

Collaborating with a healthcare team.

Choosing and implementing appropriate imaging techniques.

Reviewing and interpreting X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, and ultrasounds.

Recommending testing to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
