  • Privateer is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to support the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Patrol.
  • Quality Assurance Specialist is r esponsible for the planning, configuration, testing, and implementation of all operational changes to create the release package for the delivery of, or changes to, the designated service.
  • Manages all aspects of the end-to-end release process.
  • Ensures coordination of build and test environments teams and release teams (as applicable).
  • Ensure teams follow the organization’s established policies and procedures.
  • Provides configuration management planning.
  • Provides support to the configuration change Operational and approval process.
  • Supports the quality assurance process audits.
  • Provide management reports on release progress.
  • Responsible for service roll out planning including method of deployment and plans communication implementation in coordination with the CBP Change Operational Process.
  • This position is fully onsite 5 days a week in Ashburn, Virginia and Springfield, Virginia.

  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL v3, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA, Change Management Bachelor’s degree in related technical fields such as Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Networking and Telecommunications.

    • A minimum eight (8) Plus years of experience in equivalent technical field   Professional Certifications :

  • ITIL v3, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA, Change Management   Education : Bachelor’s degree in related technical fields such as Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Networking and Telecommunications.     Clearance : CBP Public trust   Years of Professional Experience : 8+ years   Nice If You Have :   Vetting : Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet the eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Strength & Endurance : Ability to lift, carry, or move objects up to [specific weight requirement, e.g., 50 lbs.].
  • Requires prolonged standing, walking, or physical activity for extended periods (e.g., up to 8 hours).

    • Vision & Hearing :

  • Must have the ability to see small details or distinguish colors and communicate clearly in person, via telephone, or during video teleconferences.

    • Sensory Requirements :

  • Ability to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the phone or in video calls.

    • Repetitive Tasks :

  • Involves performing repetitive tasks, such as typing, data entry, or similar actions.

    • Posture & Positioning :

  • Requires the ability to kneel, bend, stoop, or squat regularly.
