Radar Systems Analysis Engineer (Associate and Mid-Level)

The P-8 Mission Systems IPT (Integrated Product Team) is looking for an Associate or Mid-Level Radar Systems Analysis Engineer to join the Sensors Systems team in Tukwila, WA. This entails exciting opportunities to work on the radar subsystem, including new development and upgrades that would be integrated onto the P-8 aircraft, and may include support for other sensor systems as well.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop new solutions, help grow and mentor the next generation of engineers, and guide the candidates' career towards the submittal of a candidacy for a position in the Technical Fellowship.

Job responsibilities may include :

• Develop and validate requirements for the radar system, among other electrical / electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures
• Develop architectures to integrate complex subsystems and components into higher level systems and platforms
• Perform complicated trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements
• Define and conduct critical tests of various kinds to validate performance of radar designs to requirements, along with other sensor designs
• Lead the troubleshooting effort to provide timely resolution as issues and flight squawks arise for the radar system during Functional Check-Out in the factory and during Production Acceptance Testing out on the flight line as well as for other sensor systems
• Manage appropriate aspects of critical supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance with requirements
• Provide support for products throughout their lifecycle from manufacturing to customer use by giving guidance and assistance to resolve complex issues.
• Support project management by coordinating the development of work statements, budget, schedule, and other required inputs and conducting appropriate reviews
• Generate major sections of proposals to support the development of new business

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires ship. An interim and / or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Associate : $85,850 - 116,150

Mid-Level : $104,550 - 141,450
