Job Summary
Bee Mindful Mental Health and Wellness is actively seeking a Therapist who will see all ages across the lifespan. We are hoping to hire a Therapist who has experience working with children, adolescents, and / or adults with a mental health diagnosis in an outpatient setting. Our clients deserve a Therapist who can provide them with compassionate care, patience in understanding their unique challenges and who can assist them in finding healthy ways for them to manage their mental health and / or substance use.
Bee Mindful Mental Health and Wellness is an outpatient clinic that provides comprehensive mental health treatment to ages 6-99 and provides alternative services such as weight management and hormone replacement therapy all aimed to improve mental health and wellness.
Responsibilities
Provide mental health therapy to clients within the scope of training / experienceProvided case management services as necessary and / or communicate with other healthcare providers involved to advocate for other services as neededRespond to client crises as necessary and make recommendations to keep the client safe and ensure all company safety measures are followedComplete progress notes and other documentation to keep the client’s record up to date by 10am the next business dayAdhere to legal and ethical guidelines of the profession, as well as adhere to “best practice” documentation and billing requirementsMaintain a professional appearance and attitude in interactions with othersDevelop a rapport with clients in order to facilitate a healthy therapeutic relationshipDemonstrate self-motivated attitude and ability to perform responsibilities of position with limited on-site supervisionMaintain open communication with other members of the teamDemonstrate the ability to effectively multitaskFollow and implement company policies and procedures as outlined in the company employee handbookKeep shared office areas clean and organizedDemonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and techniques and display a teachable attitude when learning a new skillPerform related work as assignedQualifications
Degree in counseling, social work, or similar field (LCSW; LMFT; LPC).At least two years Clinical experience working with child, adolescents, and adults preferred
Current and unrestricted licenseBasic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifiedExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHighly organized
