Responsibilities :
- Serves as the leader and owner of assigned product categories, responsible for driving profitable growth by leading the cross-functional team and managing the 4Ps (Product, Price, Promotion, Placement) using a commercial, technical, financial, and operational mindset.
- Identifying, designing, and Owning the Product Business Plans for Short Message Service Center (SMSC) and Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) / Cell Broadcast Systems / Public Warning Systems.
- Coordinating the entire product development cycle with Technical Product Managers (TPMs), from ideation, launch and its business lifecycle.
- Ensuring that the final products meet the needs of both the business and the end-user.
- Setting milestones, timelines, and deliverables for the technical components of the product. In accordance with customer priorities.
- Managing interdependencies to avoid bottlenecks and delays via close coordination with TPMs and engineering.
- Reviewing tech specs with internal and customer technical teams.
- Evaluating architecture, standard body specifications and market trends to position and maintain market leadership.
- Developing strategies to increase market share and improve customer satisfaction with existing products.
Requirements :
At least 10 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product lifecycle management in the Telecommunications industry.Familiarity with agile is must.Hands-on experience of managing all stages of the product life cycle.Technical background with knowledge of software development and web techniques.Hands on experience of cloud services and technologies.Natural leadership skills with the ability to lead in a matrixed organization.Strong diplomacy and excellent communication skills with the ability to present and communicate effectively in front of leadership, board members, owners, and customers.Strong business P&L acumen and experience to achieve profitable growth using financial tools, forecasts, reports, data to make decisions.Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering products that meet customer and user needs.Skilled at conducting market research, gathering insights, and creating business cases.Strong experience in strategically marketing Wireless Telecommunication products and solutions.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to improve business processes and practices to reduce costs and increase efficiency.Ability to identify and implement best practices and continual improvements.Qualifications :
