Responsibilities

Ensure sterile processing of medical equipment and supplies.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.

Maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures and equipment maintenance.

Support the achievement of departmental targets and goals.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies.

Monitor and report on sterilization process efficiency and effectiveness.

Provide feedback on process improvements and efficiency gains.

Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the sterile processing department.

Engage in self-directed learning to enhance job performance.

Assist in inventory management and ordering of sterile processing supplies.

Experience / Qualifications

Proficiency in sterilization techniques for medical equipment and supplies.

Strong understanding of safety and infection control protocols.

Knowledge of regulatory standards for sterile processing.
