Job Overview : A Press Brake Operator is responsible for forming of simple to medium complexity sheet metal parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Read and understand part drawings
• Knowledge of material types and gauge thicknesses
• Inspect first and last article and other quality checks as required
• Identify quality issues that may arise and direct them to the supervisor for corrective action
• Ensure that all parts are marked correctly
• Must be safety conscious at all times

Education and / or Experience

High School diploma or GED

2 – 3 years of Press Brake experience a plus

Basic knowledge of manufacturing production or willingness to learn

Ability to read a tape measure

Ability to use quality inspection tools such as caliper, protractor

Ability to convert decimals to fractions

Ability to drive a forklift

Ability to use a computer

Job involves standing most of the day

Physical Demands

Job involves standing majority of the day

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
