Clinic Information :

  • This position is based in Northwest, Ohio
  • This clinic is equipped with Varian equipment.
  • This facility uses Aria / Eclipse Treatment planning systems.
  • This clinic has an incredibly welcoming team
  • This role will be fully supported by the OMPC team in Ohio for PTO coverage and increased patient loads

What You’ll Do

  • Perform weekly and monthly radiation measurements, as well as yearly calibration on all treatment units.
  • Monitor equipment in the Radiation Oncology Department to ensure that it is functioning correctly and safely.
  • Maintain regulatory agency records and reports.
  • Analyze alternative treatment plans and supervise dosimetry treatment planning functions.
  • Implement assessment / treatment and care based on the developmental stages of the patient.
  • Perform additional duties, as needed

    • What You’ll Need

  • Master’s Degree and / or PhD in Medical Physics.
  • A board certification by the American Board of Radiology in Therapeutic Medical Physics, or board eligibility as demonstrated by graduation from a CAMPEP accredited residency in therapy physics.
  • 2+ years of clinical Therapy Medical Physics experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret regulations.
  • A willingness to go “above and beyond” for clients and fellow colleagues.
  • Demonstrate initiative, organization, and ownership of daily tasks and projects.
  • Ability to problem solve by seeking, developing, and implementing viable solutions.
