ICU RN Travel Job Details Job Title : ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment Location : Martinsburg, WV 25401 (West Virginia healthcare jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – Acute Care ICU (MICU / SICU / Neuro) Facility : State-of-the-art hospital with 20-bed Intensive Care Unit Average Census : 16-17 patients per day Start Date : October 25, 2025 End Date : January 24, 2026 Contract Length : 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week Shift : 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00am – 7 : 30pm), every other weekend, holiday rotation Estimated Weekly Pay : $1910–$2040 Charting System : Epic EMR ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (West Virginia or compact state; licensure assistance available) Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required Certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (required); TNCC (preferred) COVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Ability to work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotation Professional appearance : Navy blue scrubs, natural hair color, tattoos covered if necessary ICU RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 20-bed ICU (MICU / SICU / Neuro) Monitor and manage patients on cardiac monitors, ventilators (Servo & Hamilton), and Braun IV pumps Administer and titrate medications, including moderate conscious sedation drips Collaborate with pulmonary critical care intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and pharmacy staff Respond to rapid responses and codes as needed Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic medical records Support and mentor nursing students and externs assigned to the unit Participate in unit orientation and ongoing clinical education Take your ICU nursing skills on the road and experience the charm of Martinsburg, WV.
