Overview
Base pay range : $130,000.00 / yr - $165,000.00 / yr
The contractor shall provide acquisition program management support for new and ongoing projects. Acquisition program analysis support tasks touch every aspect of the acquisition process, including technology development and integrating engineering, program control, foreign disclosure, test and deployment, configuration management, production and manufacturing, quality assurance, and logistics support.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and analytical methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by program or project managers and all customers.
- Apply integration, communication, coordination, organizational, and planning expertise to technical and acquisition efforts across a broad spectrum of functional disciplines to effectively assist programs to deliver and sustain USAF warfighting capabilities.
- Draw conclusions and devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
- Develop and draft acquisition documentation and ensure quality control.
- Teach program management modules within AT courses to industry and government participants and assist in curriculum development, as required.
- Apply knowledge and expertise in training, facilitation, and related decision support services to offices engaging in group training sessions, collaboration efforts, working groups, or integrated product, process, or self-directed teams.
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, setup, and conduct facilitation activities with host organization personnel and attending organizations, and establish site location and setup of audio-visual and computer equipment.
- Consult on subject matter, lead and assist in strategic planning events, manage differing opinions, and channel discussion into constructive exchanges and plans that lead to satisfactory solutions.
- Ensure agenda, attendees list, minutes, and resulting action items are documented; provide training packages to meet program needs related to management, organization, and business improvement services.
- Provide training concepts, user applications of software, policy, implementation procedures, new processes, metrics, models, and other time- and / or cost-saving initiatives to meet program needs related to management and business improvement services.
- Apply experience in public speaking and hosting / briefing to large gatherings and to personnel with high levels of responsibility.
- Support and assist in the development of : training policy, procedures, and strategies; training requirements assessment, validation, documentation, and prioritization; resource analysis and determination of resources needed; reviewing, recommending, utilizing, developing, and managing training tools and systems; conducting / training-related meetings and events; courseware development oversight and support; metrics development and reporting.
- Support and assist in Life of Type Buy (LTB); plan for and execute transportation, storage, distribution, and tracking of critical assets; resource analysis and determination of resources needed; reviewing, recommending, utilizing, developing, and managing logistic tools and systems; conducting program-related meetings and events; metrics development and reporting; ensure logistics functions, item management, and security measures are in place, enforced, and maintained.
- Receive items from the designated facility as determined by LTB contract; create a plan for lifecycle management of the LTB; manage storage, quarterly shipments, delivery schedules, liability plans for shipping, and related packaging, handling, storage, and testing recommendations; manage the storage contract and track assets from DD250 to acceptance by the program office.
- Provide additional support, under optional T&M position, as needed for transition or other expertise.
Education
MS / MA or higher in management, business, accounting, finance, logistics, or a STEM discipline or an MBA.In lieu of MS / MA or higher or equivalent professional degree, a BS / BA plus twenty-five (25) years of relevant DoD / government experience, or DoD contractor experience.Experience
Minimum of twenty (20) years of relevant work experience with the DoD or other government agencies or DoD contractors.Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an SAP environment within the last five (5) years.The projected salary range for this position is $130,000-$165,000 and is based on experience and contractual requirements. However, this is not a guarantee of salary.
