Process Specialist would be required to drive operational excellence and safety performance across the specific business units. This role provides leadership and direction in the execution of internal audits, the development of assurance strategies, and the implementation of risk-based compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oil & Gas operations, human performance principles, and a proven ability to engage diverse teams across domestic and international settings.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of Department annual auditing plans, focusing on high-risk, high-consequence operations.
- Provide audit and assurance insights to senior leadership, including risk assessments, recommendations, and compliance evaluations.
- Collaborate with global business units.
- Interpret technical publications, vendor manuals, and regulatory documents to identify and validate operational compliance.
- Conduct assurance reviews and audits of complex operational processes.
- Prepare concise, accurate audit reports and communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
- Support plant turnarounds and field operations with strategic input and on-site safety leadership.
- Interface effectively with diverse teams and individuals, including non-native English speakers, in both field and corporate settings.
Requirements : Qualifications
Extensive experience in Oil & Gas production, Waterflood, CO2, and / or Gas Plant operations.Strong working knowledge of Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) and Performance-Based Leadership.Demonstrated success in conducting audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, OneDrive); Adobe Acrobat is a plus.Ability to read and understand technical documents and operational manuals.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, cross cultural and organizational boundaries.Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a self-regulated environment.Prior experience in a leadership or team lead role within HES or Compliance Assurance.Experience working in multinational teams or international locations.Understanding of Customer Operational Excellence Management System (OEMS) or similar frameworks.Physical & Safety Requirements
