Job Duties :

  • ? Manage and lead a team of estimators to ensure accurate and timely estimation of

project costs.

  • ? Review and analyze project plans and specifications to develop detailed cost

    • estimates.

  • ? Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders on successful bids and

    • forecasting.

  • ? Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors for pricing and

    • materials.

  • ? Oversee estimating tools and process development.
  • ? Provide strategic guidance on bidding strategies and mentor the estimating team.
  • ? Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits for cost accuracy.
  • ? Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

    • Requirements :

  • ? To be 18 years of age or older
  • ? Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • ? 10+ years of construction estimating experience, including 3+ years in a management

    • role

  • ? 7+ years' experience in utility construction
  • ? 5+ years of utility estimating experience
  • ? 2+ years in utility construction (telecom focus)
  • ? Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • ? Thorough understanding of construction materials, methods, and processes
  • ? Ability to read and interpret fiber design prints and construction specifications
  • ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office, online bidding tools, and digital calendars
  • ? Consistent ability to meet sales targets and objectives
  • ? Networking, customer relations, and negotiation expertise
  • ? Independent and team-oriented work skills
  • ? Valid California Driver's License
  • ? Strong written and oral communication skills (Spanish bilingual is a plus)
  • ? Demonstrated adaptability and learning agility

    • Additional qualifications

  • ? Relevant estimating certifications preferred
  • ? Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills
  • ? Willingness to support company values, goals, and quality standards
  • ? Experience in telecom / data infrastructure construction (domestic or international)
