Salary : Job Role :

The Concrete Laborer will perform forming, prepping, pouring concrete and / or repair work on a commercial and residential scale. The duties and responsibilities are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project.

Duties / Responsibilities :

Clean up worksites.

Assist with completing job site layout from survey points.

Handle and transport materials and equipment.

Use power tools and machinery when needed.

Clearing the worksites of any debris and equipment before and after work.

Set up and tear down of forms and footings, including slab on grade and wall forms.

Mold expansion joints and edges

Bend, form, tie and install rebar and use wire mesh to reinforce the concrete.

Set up laser / transit on established points.

Grade checks and prep work prior to concrete placement.

Pulling, spreading, and finishing concrete and epoxy.

Work with buckets and pump truck to place concrete.

Apply waterproofing and sealant to protect the concrete work.

Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Good communication, interpersonal skills, and a team player.

Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.

Dependable and strong work ethic.

Qualifications :

Must be at least 18 years old.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Must be able to work long, flexible hours including weekends.

Ability to meet physical demands of the job : lift 50 pounds, kneeling and standing for long periods of time.

Willingness to travel to different locations and work in a variety of weather conditions.

Have a valid driver license.

Previous experience in the concrete industry.

Knowledge of industry safety and health protocols.

Familiarity with hand and power tools like shovels, rakes, mixers, forklifts, and power washers (Preferred)

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certified (Preferred)
